PREMATURALLY KILLING OF GIRL-CHILD IN INDIA

I am always of the opinion to save the GIRL- CHILD 

in India while fetus is growing in the womb. 

Girls born today are going to be mothers of tomorrow.

Infanticide of the girls can’t be justified and ignored. 

These homicide cases must be severely punished by 

the existing laws.

Both social and economical causes of this infanticide 

can’t be ignored. 

Traditionally,people prefer to have a male child as

Punjabi society is guided by the male paternity. 

Indian Public, especially the Punjabi culture, should 

look into the facts of how to stop centuries old 

traditions of dowry commitments. 

Many girls are killed for the fact that girls are consi-

dered social baggage on the parents and some 

parents can't afford demanded dowry. 

Without good dowry girls can’t have better husbands 

and future. 

The expenses on marriage parties in the Marriage 

Palaces and price of gold for jewelry are going out 

of sight. 

People don’t encourage or support "love-marriages” 

among suitable suitors as love marriage is often 

considered as stigma to the honor of the family. 

While we preach others not to kill the fetuses of the 

girls, we should also try to eradicate undermining 

causes targeting people who try to kill the infant 

female children in our society.

The doctors should report such occurrences and 

law order should also discourage this practice.
