When the green trees burn in fire
by the men's hand and mind, 
What does it mean ? 

When the people of a nation get out
in the street and shout, 
What does it mean ? 

When old and young, mother and child 
cry for their human rights with no fear, 
What does it mean ? 

When these voices can be heard 
all over the planet Earth, 
What does it mean ? 

When the police workers fight against 
their neighbors, colleagues and friends,
What does it mean ?

When we know that it happens
in my country, in your country,
Europe, Asia, Africa and America...
