SANSKRIT LANGUAGE SPOKEN LESS AND LESS IN INDIA IN 2012

Haminia :

I insist in knowing the truth about
the Sanskrit language because 70
years ago, the International and well
known Romanian philosopher, Mircea
Eliade, left Romania for India only to
study Sanskrit and the oldest religion
in the world, Hindi as well as all the
other religions from India.

In that time he fell in love with his
university teacher's beautiful daughter,
Maytrey for whom he wrote one of his
most beautiful novel called also
MAYTREY which is studied by all the
Romanian students in High School.

After 4 years of studying in India he
went to USA and became the first
University Professor who taught THE
HISTORY OF RELIGIONS until his death.

After his passing away, the Americans
found very hard another teacher to
teach The History of Religions, one
of Mircea ELiade's students.

He also taught the Sanskrit language
his American students.

They were speaking Sanskrit.

He said that all the people should know
Sanskrit language and considered it the
most beautiful language in the world.

Unfortunately, he never came back to
Romania and we can read only his
precious philosophical and religious
books .

T feel sorry to know that the Sanskrit
language is spoken less and less in
India.

Just so much informative, Haminia!
It makes me proud to say that I belong
to a country where such a rich language
was originated.

I feel like Romania has great connection
with India since time immemorial.

Its interesting to know about Mircea
Eliade.

Max Müller was the one who translated
Vedas into English which is considered
as one among the most authentic trans-
lations in the world.

Yeah, it is indeed unfortunate to see that

the language is not well appreciated in
India now.

Hindi is considered as the Raashtra
Bhaasha (the state language) of India,
but I could never accept it so.

When even Hindi is originated from
Sanskrit, I feel like, Sanskrit should be
considered as the Raashtra Bhaasha.
