Dear friend,
These are my thoughts about violence and the power of peace. All is from my own experience and knowledge. The peaceful methods are very good, they are the best in all the situations in life if it is possible to apply them.
Let's take as example the struggle for freedom of a people. Nobody likes violence and more than that...a revolution full of blood or a war. We all know what violence means during the struggle for freedom or peace even if we have never fought ourselves in a revolution.
The TV News show us daily about the humiliated human beings by their leaders, to live an impossible life : without food, without clothes, without houses and without money. Where are they fighting now for the Good ? Just watch CNN : Yemen, Libia, Manama, Iraq, Algeria .
They are dieing in the streets or in the jungle...no matter where ... they chose to die in fighting. Why ? Because they were silent too much time...they hoped in their Faith in God, they hoped that the things would change if they were peaceful and good people respecting their leaders...intelligent people they thought !
The intelligent leaders didn't think like the people, unfortunately.
They made the peoples' life impossible to live. The corruption reached the highest level in the history of corruption, nowadays. The high positioned leaders never put an end to stealing all they can steal from the state or from the private owners or workers using their power and position in the state.
The people lost their jobs, the people don't have money to buy food and vital medicines for them to live...They don't have possibilities neither to pay any taxes to the state nor to work. They are blocked to die only ...or to cry, to shout and to fight for their rights !
This is happening unfortunately in many countries these days. The people can not use the power of peace anymore...they used it tens of years, from 5 years to 40 years...more generations, can you imagine it ?
The very "smart" leaders who have all the power in the state
live very happy and comfortable in their luxurious houses with swimming pools in the living-room and helicopters in the yard...with money and gold in the banks. They don't care about the power of peace and patience. They don't care if the people whom they lead dye. They also don't believe in God or Good ! They don't listen to the good pieces of advices they are given by the people around them.
What can happen in this situation? What ? The "uneducated" people start fighting for their freedom and rights to live a true life . They start using the violence in a revolution or a civil war. There are many examples in this way : Tunisia in January 2011 , Egypt after two weeks when some hundreds of Egyptians died in the struggle against their government and president. They fought 19 days and nights in the main square from Cairo until they won and the president left the power.
The example with Mahatma Gandhi in India 1919 is not good now as I can see. I don't know exactly what peaceful methods Gandhi used for the freedom of India against the British Empire. I wish I knew if his methods could be applied in all the countries which are struggling now in revolutions against their own leaders.
As I wrote in the beginning of my writing I agree with the non-violence very much. I also agree with the power of peace, the power of faith in God who gave Us the single Breath and Life !
I wish all the Good , Health and Happiness for all the Humanity !
God bless Us !
Haminia
